Regularly replace the filter-drier in the air-conditioning system
The maintenance and replacement of wear parts mean happy customers and increased revenues for your garage
Article of 19.03.2010
Lippstadt, im März 2010. The Thermo Management experts Behr Hella Service provide the following advice: Every two years, the filter drier/. accumulator in the air-conditioning system should be replaced. Filter-driers/accumulators have a filter cushion which traps dirt particles from the air-conditioning system whilst removing moisture at the same time. The filter elements have limited absorption capacity and so need to be replaced regularly. A breakdown in the filter-drier reduces the refigration output and can even cause the entire air-conditioning unit to fail. For this reason, replacement of the filter-drier/accumulator should take place every two years when the entire air-conditioning system is inspected and the refrigerant is replaced. Regular maintenance performed by specialists opens up revenue potentials for the garage and keeps customers happy.
